Hi, I’m Mollie Jo! I’m a freelance illustrator working in both traditional and digital art. Inspired by nature, fantasy, and all the little moments in life, I create pieces that reflect a love of storytelling and imagination.

Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, I share my days with my Blue Heeler, Noni. You’ll often find us wandering the woods, soaking in the beauty of our mountain home. My work draws heavily from folk tales, mythology, and the raw expressions of human emotion. Archetypes, stories, and music fuel my creativity, while a childlike fascination with character and creature design, as well as world-building, forms the heart of my art.

I love working with alcohol markers, gouache, and Procreate, though no piece feels complete without experimenting. From oil pastels and colored pencils to watercolor and beyond, layering different mediums brings my visions to life.

When I’m not at my art desk, I’m a massage therapist, offering healing and relaxation to those who need it. This practice grounds me and inspires the care I put into my artwork.
